About Us

The Healing Network began life when my wife was pregnant with our first baby. We were searching the internet for local alternative therapists to help her through a difficult pregnancy. The information that existed was very limited and difficult to find, we got no sense that there were therapists out there with the skill and kindness that could help us. It was only luck that led us to our excellent hypnotherapist and reflexologist who played important parts in bringing our baby Finn safely into the world.

From this experience I was inspired to create a new service, one which would be easy to use for both therapists and people seeking treatment. As a therapist the website will provide you with a detailed profile, almost like your own mini website, which you can use to promote your services. Clients can then search these by area and by therapy offered. We also added a facility that might give those new to alternative therapies some idea of which treatment might be suitable for their problem. Click here see some of the features.

What it will cost?
We are trying to keep the cost of being part of the Network as low as possible. We think that the site has a fresher and cleaner feel if it is free from advertising clutter, which often puts off potential clients. People need to be able to reach your information in the fewest number of clicks. Consequently there is a small monthly charge of £1.90, but for a limited period only its free until January 2009.
