Introduction
Hi, I am John and I offer a number of holistic approaches to your health and life needs. It is important to remember that none of us have to be unwell to benefit from working with any holistic therapy. Eventhough this is commonly why most people get in contact with me. Any form of complementary or holistic treatment can help all of us to live happier, healthier and more relaxed lives.
I am told my down to earth attitude encourages patients and clients to appreciate the physical, emotional and mental aspects of an holistic approach to life. I consider that we all have the ability and choice to bring our lives into balance; and that each approach is unique to that person.
About Me
I have been involved with the holistic and complementary field for over thirteen years. My training has involved furthering and integrating knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM with Western Holistic medicine.
Previous to this I studied BSc Hons Pharmaceutical Science and Analytical Chemistry to degree level. Yet even at this time, I started to question whether pharmaceutical drugs were the best and only method of treating acute disease and more chronic health conditions. What had begun as personal interests several years ago while at university started to open up as a career.
Personally, I find holistic medicine is analogous to gardening, it aims to bring the whole person into balance, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually; by treating the branch, trunk and roots of any health issue. Conventional medicine is more like bio-mechanics, it views the body as a biological machine and fixes health conditions in a more symptomatic nuts and bolts way. It just has a different approach to holistic medicine, yet if we combine the two approaches; everyone benefits. I actively encourage any patient to use holistic treatment in conjunction with conventional medicine. We all have the ability and choice to bring our lives into balance; and that each approach is unique to each person.
I am qualified and insured to practice several therapies which include Herbal Medicine, Tera-Mai™ Reiki-Seichem hands-on healing; EFT™ and Meridian therapies. I completed my professional Herbal clinical practice in Nanjing, China and London with Pierre Cousin. I am a registered member of the Unified Register of Herbal Practitioners URHP.
I also trained within the Tera-Mai™ healing system as a Master-Teacher; and as a licensed practitioner of Meridian therapies with the UK Association for Meridian therapies. Besides running a therapy practice, I also write and facilitate personal development courses.
For the past two years, I have been running my practice from the Nightingale Clinic in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire.

The beauty of Reiki and Seichem healing is that it can be applied to the majority of health concerns; the only limitation of its application is the patient’s choices and expectations. A treatment is normally a pleasant, soothing and relaxing experience; where patients have been known to fall asleep. Reiki and Seichem combine well with most conventional and holistic forms of treatment, helping the patient to rebalance their health.
It is normally applied with the hands, though it can be transmitted by the feet, arms, elbows and forehead; which makes it equally accessible for people with physical disabilities. Those that practice Reiki do so as an act of compassionate service, where being attuned to Reiki is primarily about personal and spiritual development. Your initial consultation takes 90 minutes. It incorporates a full personal and health history, an assessment of your needs and your initial treatment of 30 minutes.

Whether these conditions manifest physically, emotionally or mentally; EFT™ can be used to choose how you want to manage or move on from health or life concerns. It often helps those conditions that conventional medicine can manage yet is unable to cure.
The initial consultation takes up to 90 minutes and involves a full personal and background history of any issues you want to address.

Using a combination of Reiki Seichem healing and EFT, your pet or animals health needs can be addressed holistically. These treatments are offered to benefit your pets physical and emotional well-being. A consultation builds deeper understanding and a better relationship between animal and companion-owner.
The initial 90 minute consultation allows the animal or pet, their companion-owner and me to discuss the issues or concerns that need addressing. Sometimes the manifestation of a physical or emotional condition mirrors what is going on within and around your pet; which is why sometimes I will work with you as much as them.
